Feast

The word of the day is Feast. I just took a photo of the contents of my fridge as I had already eaten my breakfast when I checked the word.

Self Portrait Saturday # 2

Well, here we go again, more photographs of ourselves! I actually used the self timer today :o)

I had a little play with it today. I used the free Lomo Action on the colour one and the free Alys BW action on the black and white one. Both of these filters were downloaded from Action Central.

Well HSMS started up again ages ago but I just haven't been able to take part...until today. I wasn't very impressed when I went to the blog and saw that my first day was going to have to be a photo of me but hey, here it is :)

Bowl

Charlotte is off of Nursery today, we are both feeling a bit under the weather so today's interpretation of HS:MS word 'Bowl' is not great but I can't be bothered to faff around today. Charlotte's snack (which she isn't eating!).

Sit

Todays HS:MS prompt is SIT. As the children are at Nursery and School and the cat is hiding under a bush in the garden I have had to resort to taking a photograph of an inanimate object!!

Here is my effort for today.

ETA:
This is a soapstone figurine called 'The Thinking Man' I bought it in the Masai Mara African shop in Bluewater in Kent.

Write

Firstly, I must answer questions about yesterday's picture. How did I do it? Well, I just held the camera in my left hand and above my head and randomly moved it around taking pictures on macro mode lol. I was lucky enough to get one! If anyone else has GHD's straighteners you will know that they get incredibly hot, which is how they can straighten your hair so quickly and brilliantly. You do not want to leave these straighteners on your hair for any length of time which is why mine were switched off when I took this photo after I had straightened my hair!!

Todays prompt is Write and Charlotte was sat on the floor playing with Aquadraw when I saw it so I just grabbed the camera and took this before she saw me :o)

ETA for Lin.

To put a link in a blog post you need to type the following:

<*a href="Link address here">Text Here<*/a>

remove the asterisks which I have put in so that this doesn't show as a link (you wouldn't be able to read it else!).

Straight

Well, I have always had naturally wavy hair and the only way I can get it STRAIGHT is if I use my GHD hair straighteners! I love these and would be lost without them.

So, my HS:MS photo for todays prompt is this:

Tea

Not a very inspired shot today but I happened to be drinking tea when I saw the prompt and I don't drink tea very often so I had to grab the opportunity and take a quick photo before my drink went cold! I liked all the reflections in this one, especially how the words inside the cup are reflected in the tea.
